Cookie Notice
The Vaely website at vaelyai.web.app uses very little client-side storage. This notice describes everything the website may set, why, for how long, and how to opt out where opting out is meaningful.
In one sentence
No advertising cookies, no social-media tracking pixels, no cross-site retargeting, no third-party identifiers — the website uses essential local storage only, plus a cookieless analytics provider that honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
1. The Vaely App does not use cookies
The Vaely iOS App is a native application. It does not use HTTP cookies. Web cookies, by definition, exist in the context of a browser. The App is governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes the architectural on-device data handling that does the work cookies would do in a browser context.
2. The website uses essential storage only
Browser storage on the website is limited to the following items, all of which are necessary for the website to function or for you to express a preference:

Essential storage of this kind does not require explicit consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive or under the regulations that implement it in EEA member states, because it is strictly necessary for a service the user has requested.
3. Analytics is cookieless
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count aggregate page views. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies, does not assign visitor identifiers across sessions, does not log IP addresses into the analytics record, does not perform fingerprinting, and does not enable cross-site tracking. The data it produces is aggregate and statistical.
Where your browser sends a Do Not Track (DNT) header or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, the website suppresses analytics for your visit.

4. What we do not use
The website does not use any of the following:
- Advertising cookies, ad-network cookies, or programmatic-advertising tracking of any kind.
- Social-media tracking pixels (Facebook Pixel, X / Twitter pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or equivalent).
- Cross-site retargeting tags or behavioral-advertising profiles.
- Google Analytics or any other Google product on this site.
- Heatmap or session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, LogRocket, or equivalent).
- A/B testing platforms that fingerprint or persist visitor identity.
- Live-chat widgets, AI support bots, or third-party customer-data platforms.
- Marketing-automation cookies, email-tracking pixels in transactional email, or webinar-platform pixels.
The absence of these tools is intentional. They are a category of component the website is built without.
5. Cookies set by third-party services you may visit
If you click a link from the website to a third-party destination — for example, Apple's App Store, Apple's privacy policy page, the Mozilla Foundation, or any other referenced URL — that third party is governed by its own cookie policy, not ours. We do not control what the third party does after you leave our domain.
6. How to control or remove storage
You can clear all browser storage for vaelyai.web.app using your browser's standard privacy controls:
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data, then remove vaelyai.web.app.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site Settings → View permissions and data stored across sites, then find and remove vaelyai.web.app.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data, then remove vaelyai.web.app.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → See all cookies and site data, then remove vaelyai.web.app.
Clearing storage will reset your theme preference; the website will fall back to your system default the next time you visit.
7. Changes to this notice
If we change the storage the website uses, this notice will be updated. The most important commitment we can make is structural: the categories of storage in Section 4 are categories of component the website is built without, not categories we might quietly enable later. If we ever needed to enable any of them, we would update this notice in advance and seek explicit consent where required by your jurisdiction.
